My life journey started as a single mom. I was born in a small town called Burgaw NC. Eventually we moved back to New York . My first son was born in 1988 a gift and miracle from GOD. In 1991 and then 1993 I gave birth to 2 more wonderful sons. I dedicated my life to my sons and that meant giving up the life of running the streets.. I l
My life journey started as a single mom. I was born in a small town called Burgaw NC. Eventually we moved back to New York . My first son was born in 1988 a gift and miracle from GOD. In 1991 and then 1993 I gave birth to 2 more wonderful sons. I dedicated my life to my sons and that meant giving up the life of running the streets.. I landed a job in 1991 with EMS this changed my life completely. I obtained my EMT-I Certification along with numerous certificates from the Sherrifs department.. I later became a BLS instructor in which today I have my own training center. In 2009 I received my associates degree in Criminal Justice and made the Presidents List. After working years with EMS and 911 telecom. my passion became even stronger watching single moms struggle with many things, especially domestic violence, human trafficking, and homelessness. Every Thursday, I would make dinner for children in the neighborhood to give back to single moms or parents. At least that would be one less thing they had to do. My non-profit is called Second Chance Angels. I have a team of women who are dedicated to my vision, and I couldn’t do this without them. I survived many battles all through my faith and with my three kings. GOD truly gets the glory. I am now working on my book called “Waiting to Ex-Hell.” My sons are now married with their generation of young kings and Queens., and we are grateful. This journey has been long and has taught me patience. We will always keep driving through the storms of life because even if you pull over for a moment. That’s a moment too long that you have surrendered. Never surrender to any storm. GOD gave me a second chance, so I will spend the rest of my life giving willing souls that same chance.

Weare committed to serving our community with the best of our ability. We are certified in Basic Life Support. We teach Basic life support to others in the community as well mentoring, counseling . We connect women of domestic violence to a safe haven. We are committed to helping the elderly with many needs. Ask about our one one program coming soon.
